
How we brought Matas a little closer

When Matas – Denmark’s largest and oldest health and beauty retailer – was facing fierce competition from new aggressive players we were asked to help built a new brand platform.
The solution came from a simple insight: With more than 250 shops all over Denmark Matas is close to almost every Dane and to everything from our pregnancies to our puberty.
And from there we developed the brand platform “Closer” (Tættere På) that reminded all of us to get closer to one another, becasuse that’s the only way we can understand each other. The brand platform was executed on a brand-level as well as a tactical level (Closer to skin / Closer to nutrition / Closer to puberty etc.). On top of that we developed a new brand identity (CVI) and branded content such as an online talk show with the Danish TV-darling Sofie Linde.
